| Dr. Duncan Postma
came to Tallahassee in 1986 from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill where he had been an assistant professor. He received his
board certification in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in 1982.
He has extensive experience in pediatric ENT as well as cancer of the
head and neck. He has published numerous articles and book chapters and,
because of this special expertise in head and neck tumors, he was
elected a member of the subspecialty society of the American Head and
Neck Society in 1990. He is an assistant clinical professor at UNC-Chapel
Hill and participates as an assistant clinical professor with the FSU
College of Medicine. His other special interests are sinus surgery and
skull base procedures. Dr. Postma just completed a
paper on
hyperparathyroidism. |

Dr. Spencer Gilleon
is from Tampa, Florida and began practicing in Tallahassee in July 1991.
He received his Bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech and a Master's degree
in Medical Sciences at Emory University. Having graduated from medical
school at the University of Florida in 1986, he completed five years of
internship and otolaryngology residency at the University of Arkansas
for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. He
is board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and has
special interests in cancer, general ear, nose and throat disorders,
endoscopic sinus surgery and pediatric ENT. He also has interests in
surgery for snoring, sleep apnea and professional voice disorders.
Affiliated with FSU College of Medicine as an assistant clinical
professor. |

Dr. Adrian Roberts
was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He completed his
undergraduate studies in 1985 and his medical school training in 1989,
at the University of Florida. He subsequently completed his surgical
internship and otolaryngology residency at the Oregon Health Sciences
University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Roberts received his board
certification in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in 1995. His
practice includes all aspects of otolaryngology and he has a special
interest in ear surgery, sinus surgery and the treatment of snoring and
sleep apnea. He is an assistant clinical professor at the FSU College of
Medicine. Dr. Roberts serves as the director of our audiology services. |

Dr. Marie O. Becker
is from Houston, Texas and began practicing in Tallahassee in August of
1995. She completed her undergraduate studies in 1985 at Georgetown
University in Washington, D.C. where she received a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish, Magna Cum Laude. She
graduated from medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston,
Texas and went on to complete her internship and residency at the
University of Cincinnati Medical Center in 1995. Dr. Becker is board
certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery with foremost
interests in pediatric otolaryngology and sinus disorders. She
participates as an assistant clinical professor with the FSU College of
Medicine. |

Dr. Robert
Snider was originally from Missouri but came to Tallahassee in 1968
after completing his residency at University of Mississippi. He also
received a year of training at University of Pennsylvania in
otolaryngology at the graduate school of medicine. He received his
undergraduate training at University of Missouri with an AB degree in
Chemistry. He interned and served in the United States Air Force for 2
years as a Flight Surgeon. He is board certified in Otolaryngology -
Head and Neck Surgery, and Otolaryngic and Nasal Allergy. Affiliated
with FSU College of Medicine as an assistant clinical professor. His
interests are general otolaryngology, sinus surgery and otology. |

Dr. Joseph
Soto
was originally from Atlanta, Georgia and began practicing in
Tallahassee in July, 2005. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in
biomedical engineering, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt
University in Nashville, Tennessee in 1996. Dr. Soto continued
his medical education at Vanderbilt and was awarded the
Vanderbilt University School of Medicine Award of Distinction
when he graduated in 2000. He completed his general surgery
internship at St. Joseph Hospital and otolaryngology residency
at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado. Dr.
Soto is board certified in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck
Surgery and his practice encompasses all aspects of
otolaryngology. He has particular interests in endoscopic sinus surgery, ear surgery, and
thyroid/parathyroid surgery. |

Tricia Skinner is a Nurse Practitioner and our patient education
coordinator. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, she was head nurse
and clinic manager at the University of North Carolina in the Ear, Nose
and Throat Department, and clinical director at Tallahassee Ear, Nose
and Throat. In 1995, she completed her Master's degree at Florida State
University. |
