Lisa Myrick, Au.D. has over twenty years professional experience and serves as audiology department manager. Originally from Boynton Beach, Dr. Myrick served as audiologist and manager at a large ear, nose and throat practice in South Florida before she and her family moved to Tallahassee in 2000. Dr. Myrick received a Master of Science in audiology in 1985 from Florida State University. In January 2005, she received a Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Myrick has a long history of service to the Deaf community and is fluent in American Sign Language.
Mary Susan Thornton, Au.D. has over twenty years of professional experience in audiology. Originally from Frostproof, Florida, Dr. Thornton and her family have resided in Tallahassee since 1986. In 1987 Dr. Thornton co-founded Audiology Associates of North Florida, which later merged with Tallahassee Ear, Nose & Throat. Dr. Thornton received a Master of Education in audiology from the University of Georgia in 1985. In 2005, she received a Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Dr. Thornton also serves as the clinical director of the Healthy Athletes Program of the Florida Special Olympics.
Susan Nowlin, M.S. joined Audiology Associates of North Florida in 2001. Originally from Boynton Beach, Nowlin has resided in Tallahassee for over twenty years. She received a Master of Science in audiology from Florida State University in 1986 and is in the process of earning her Doctorate in Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences. Nowlin has a long history of service to the Deaf community and is fluent in American Sign Language.
Erin Lackinger Au.D. joined Audiology Associates of North Florida in 2004. Originally from Gulf Breeze, Dr. Lackinger practiced Audiology in Savannah, Georgia before moving to Tallahassee with her husband. She received a Master of Education in audiology from University of Georgia in 2001, and a Doctorate of Audiology from Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2007. She is a member of the American Speech, Language & Hearing Association as well as the American Academy of Audiology and the Vestibular Disorders Association.
Amanda Lawrence, M.S. joined Audiology Associate of North Florida in 2006. She was born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida and obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Florida State University in 1999. She graduated with a Master of Science in Audiology in 2001 from Vanderbilt University. Lawrence completed her clinical fellowship in Bradenton, Florida.
Amanda Bullard, Au.D., better known as Mandy, joined Audiology Associates of North Florida in June of 2009. Originally from Long Beach, Mississippi, Dr. Bullard obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Mississippi in 2005. In 2009, she obtained her Clinical Doctorate of Audiology from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Additionally, Dr. Bullard is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
